Plan against loneliness

Plan Against Loneliness
The Plan Against Loneliness was started to minimize loneliness here on the planet Earth.
In writings from 1967, fluxus artist Bengt af Klintberg gave the world an idea called the ‘Plan Against Loneliness’. This goal of this plan was to place yellow benches over the entire world. These yellow benches are benches on which one can sit if one feels the need to be talked to. If one sees a person sitting on one of these yellow benches one knows that there is free reign for conversation.
33 years later the idea was still unrealized. The Professional Art Gangsters / De Professionella Konstgangstrarna decided that an idea of such magnificent magnitude deserved a better fate than this and decided to help as best they could in order to bring the idea to fruition. Yellow benches began to appear all over the world with the start in Scandinavia. This based on our judgment that Scandinavia’s chilly climate poses such a bleak and suicide-prone character that it is in dire need of such.
